About this Sailboat:

Brighid is a Gary Mull designed Ranger 33 refit to cruise. She is a US Documented boat in Bristol Sailaway Condition. Currently located in beautiful La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico on the Sea of Cortez, she is ready to move aboard and enjoy immediately.
Brighid has the look and feel of a nimble racer/cruiser, is easily singlehanded and provides luxury accomodations for one and very comfortable accomodations for two while incorporating berths for six.
Brighid is a true turnkey boat ready to take you to the islands of the Sea of Cortez–and further–today. Spend your time cruising, not sanding, painting,spinning wrenches and fixing things.
She is a joy to sail–quick, nimble and fast– and at 10,500lbs displacement with 4800lbs of that as lead encapsulated in the keel, she deliveries a seaworhty and comfortable ride as well.

New in 2000 Universal M320B 3 cyl 20hp diesel engine by Westerbeke w/400hours

New in 2010 ZF10M transmission rated for continuous use with engine size and boat displacement–new flexible coupling and new flywheel interface

Icebox–easy conversion to Refrig. if desired

New in 2008 Raritan head, removable holding tank (never used) with macerator discharge and deck pump out

Galley on starboard side with new in 2009 Force 10 2 burner stove w/ oven and broiler

New Propane system from tanks to stove with redundant shutoff and sniffer

ABI manual horizontal windlass–$2000. when new. bought used in fine condition

Primary–Delta, Secondary–CQR and Stern–Fortress all with 5/16 HT Chain and 5/8 8 plait nylon rode new in 2009 (over 640 feet of rode)

Rail mounted BBQ–propane

18 gal fuel tank–plastic and 2 5 gal back up jerry type cans also plastic

LED lighting throughout

2 AGM (glass mat) Longlife 110 amp hr marine batteries– these are the best marine bat. i could find

Balmar 80 amp back up Alternator with “smart Regulator” also by Balmar

All lines led to cockpit

Wheel steering– refurbished

Edson binnacle arch with GPS mounting and plugin full wiring for a hookup elsewhere(ie, nav station)
