About this Sailboat:
This is a 1973 Pearson P-26 for sale. These are very well built boats and this one is very spacious both inside and out for her size.
Our family of four primarily sailed this boat in northern Lake Huron, from Cheboygan to the straits, and would often stay on the boat for up to 4 nights with no problem.
The mast running rigging was replaced in 2009 as well as a new boom vang.
This is the perfect starter boat to learn on as it handles very well even single handed.
It comes with a maroon sail cover and dodger and is equipped with a hood headsail furler.
It has 2 sails; a hood fully battened main as well as hood 155% genoa.
The boat is also equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave as well as pressurized water and new sealand traveler head. It is equipped with a cable ready TV. The boat is wired for 30 amp dock service as well as for cable. The boat has 2 batteries as well as charger and 110 power inverter to power the AC systems while under way.
I have a couple of pictures of the boat now and will have many more.
The bottom of the boat was painted this season with Interlux VC-17 paint.
This boat also comes with a custom built 2 axle trailer complete with lights and trailer brakes.
This is a very well maintained and clean boat with a 15 horse Johnson outboard and 2 6 gallon fuel tanks. The boat has a 40 gallon water tank and 9 gallon waste tank.
This is a must see boat and worth every penny. Call me anytime to set up a time to look at the boat.
