About this Sailboat:

Bantam is an outstanding sailing sloop, strong, fast, stable, tracks extremely well, solid epoxy hull, heavy mast and rig for offshore work, all major systems re-fit in last 10 years. Excellent condition. A very handsome traditional sheer, but with reverse transom. Very easy to handle under sail or power, backs exceptionly well, routinely hits 7.5 knots on close reach in 15 knots of air, points extremely well and will track straight without touching the wheel in mid-range wind conditions. Very secure in heavy weather.

Westerbeke 20B diesel and all new shaft, martec folding prop, exhaust,water intake,fuel tank & filter; new electrical panel & wiring, 2 house batteries, 1 starting battery, battery combiner charging system; 3 bilge pumps, 2 electric, 1 manual; Raytheon Autohelm; Harken Roller Furling; Horizon Marine Radio, Signet Wind Instruments, Depth sounder, West Marine Stereo with cockpit speakers; pressure cold water, eletric head, new holding tank and all plumbing, 2 ice boxes, food and beverage, alcohol 2 burner cooktop; hydraulic back stay, double track head stay, 2 wire jib halyards, 2 spinnaker halyards, new low stretch main halyard, all spinnaker gear, fully battened main with 3 slab reef points and gear, jib numbers 1, 2, 3, & storm, 3/4 oz spinnaker, mostly new sheets and other running gear, 2 danforth anchors with 250 ft ground tackle, bow roller, barrier coat with 3 coats of multi-year ablative bottom paint, new interior, new lighting throughout, custom hatch screens, new mainsail cover in admiral blue, white hull, red painted boot top, blue bottom paint, white deck.
