1972 Pearson 26

5 October, 2011 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

SOLITUDE is one fine vessel, and has everything to make a family happy on the water. She sleeps five comfortably, and has the most faithful NISSAN 9.8 hp outboard, which took us across the Erie Canal in ’09. The Pearson design is worthy of its reputation, is forgiving yet sleek, easy to work with yet is the best at working any wind. She has won race trophies when on the Hudson, and is now at the prettiest marina in the Midwest, across from a US Naval destroyer-ship museum in Buffalo. She will be a beloved addition to your family – re: being a mobile campground, a water-based cabin, or an ‘aquatic office’ if you will!

Equipment on Board:

New marine battery, anchor and chain, three jibs (Hood Genoa), spinnaker and pole, new Coleman stove, portable toilet. Sony radio and new cushions throughout.
