About this Sailboat:
Unfortunate circumstances force me to sell my beloved 1972 B26. She is in excellent shape, I wouldn’t hesitate to cross the Gulf Stream with her and explore the Carribbean.
Equipment on Board:
She has a 2006 Johnson 9.9 hp longshaft with a 4-blade hi thrust prop that sips gas. The motor is inside-the-lazarette mounted with elec start and cockpit-mounted controls. She has all the current CG safety equipment, a good 2-way Radio, depth sounder, AM-FM radio with CD player, a manual and electric bilge pump. The elec pump has a Y valve to convert to fresh water for a cockpit shower/washdown hose. The pedestal table has been removed and a bulkhead mounted custom solid mahogany fold-down table with shelves behind installed. The galley has a 2-burner coleman stove plumbed in with a propane tank mounted below the sink. The V berth has a 4 inch foam mattress. She has a porta-potti in the head, updated electric with new West Marine fuse panel, 2 deep cycle marine batteries. She has a good main with traveller and lazy jacks, a working jib and a 140% genoa. Halyards and downhauls lead to the cockpit for easy single-handing. Good ground tackle with an anchor roller on the bow and a mushroom anchor with line for off the stern. She has an 8′ Walker Bay dinghy and has a very sturdy 2 axle trailer for moving and winter storage.
