1971 Islander MK-II

About this Sailboat:

This is a great first boat, perfectly suited for coastal cruising, or trips to Catalina Island.

Has new starting battery, but needs a new house battery and it’s ready for Catalina Island!

Equipment on Board:

Practically new 20 HP Beta Marine diesel engine (exactly 158.8 hours) that is in great condition (2004). The engine alone is 8K. 20 Gallon Stainless

Coast Guard Documented Vessel (you do not have to deal with Ca registration).
Sleeps 6 (4 Comfortably in two double berths).
Tiller, with Forespar Tiller extention handle.
Plenty of Storage.
Separate Head with 15 Gallon tank, and macerator (macerator not hooked up).
2 Stainless Steel Sinks, both with hand Gusher pumps.
25 Gallon Fresh water Tank.
Signet Depth Finder, and Knot Meter.
CQR anchor with chain and rode (will measure amount of chain).
Heavy duty manual Windlass.
Separate Danforth Anchor (at least 43 LBS with plenty of rode). Big enough for a boat much larger.
Battery Charger.
New Panel.
AC (alternating current– dock power) just re-wired (just needs to be ground).
Dinette converts to comfortable double berth.
Ice Box.
West Marine dinghy, with 6HP outboard engine (with mechanic now to see if works). Dinghy needs new flooring.
7 Winches (2-16, 2–Barlow 21, 2–Barlet 21, and one on mast.) 2 Winch Handles.
Radar Deflector.
CD Player/ AM/FM Radio.
VHF Radio.
Life Sling (Overboard rescue system).
