About this Sailboat:
Complete refit June of 2010 of this Lloyds Marine Registry certified hull. She has a semi-custom interior, built out for comfort and functional simplicity. This is a fantastic boat. She is quite fast, strong as hell, and sails well on all points, even down wind with the gennaker. She regularly sails at 8-9 kts and motors at 6. The boat is very well built with thick glass and airex foam core totalling over 1.25″. We have a survey from June 2010 valueing the boat at $38,000, prior to the new sails, the interior rebuild, new bulkhead tabbing, and rebuilt rudder. The rudder was rebuilt at Boston Boatworks after a crack was found in the leading edge. During refit all parts removed interior and exterior. All deck hardware, etc rebeded. Mast removed, stripped, painted, with new wiring, and inspected, cleaned 9/32 stainless rigging. New babystay installed. All rigging is Sta Lok with 7/16 pins. Surveyor found it all to be in excellent condition. 1984 Volvo Penta 18 hp engine removed and partially rebuilt. It has new exhaust elbow, four new mounts and Balmar 75 watt alternator with charging accesories. The engine runs very strong. The hull was stripped and has three coats of epoxy barrier, and two coats of Micron bottom paint. Topsides have two coats of Brightsides, and deck has non-skid. New Lexan 1/4″ windows, and three tinted hatches, and one solid hatch in the v-berth.
