About this Sailboat:
22 Pearson Electra Sailboat
Beautiful Classic Carl Alberg design
Fixed keel, draws 3 feet
This boat was built in 1963, before boat builders figured out how thin they could make fiberglass. She is well made. She was designed Carl Alberg, whos many legendary ocean going yacht designs have crossed every ocean. Alberg designs are typically have wooden cockpit coamings and beautiful lines with large overhangs.
She sleeps four, two in the Vee berth and one each in the two quarter berths. A custom tabernacle allows two people to easily raise and lower the mast.
She is quite well equipped with lots of extras. About any wind condition can be accommodated with a full suit of sails which allows adjusting to from a storm jib up to a full spinnaker. She is very sea kindly which makes her great for beginner sailors and seasoned sailors alike.
The Triad trailer is custom designed for this boat and is very well made.
